About the Role
Apex Mobile Clinical Research is seeking an energetic, independent, and compassionate licensed independent practitioner with an advanced nursing or medical degree (NP, PA-C, DO, MD or equivalent) to join our team. The successful candidate will be positioned in a very senior Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) role as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), may act as a sub-investigator, and will perform independent home-based clinical trial visits covering multiple local trial sites and studies. The position is based in Houston, TX with flexibility to work from home as needed. The successful candidate will possess a willingness and desire to work independently without significant supervision. Additionally, this position may require moderate travel and duties outside of normal business hours.
In this position, you will work in the pivotal role of coordinating communication and activities among patients, investigators, home health personnel, vendors, and other study personnel to prepare for and complete home-based study visits, procedures, and assessments. You will assist the investigators, sub-investigators, and the Apex Mobile team with the successful implementation and conduct of the research study while adhering to the study protocol. You will understand and comply with all regulations, policies, and guidelines applicable to clinical research including GCP and ICH, as well as with FDA and IRB/EC requirements. In this role as Clinical Research Coordinator, you will collect study data, complete, and maintain source documents, and perform other day-to-day activities related to study conduct.

Requirements
The Ideal Candidate has an advanced nursing or medical degree (NP, PA-C, MD or DO) and a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a licensed independent provider.
Has completed GCP and CITI training or is willing to complete necessary courses upon hire.
At least two (2) years of industry-sponsored clinical research experience is preferred.
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and follow through.
A strong communicator and effective problem solver with an exceptional ability to work as part of a team and to multitask effectively.
Well-developed interpersonal skills, extending to co-workers, peers, supervisors, and external customers.
An ability to self-monitor the collected data per Good Documentation Practices.
Ability to start from scratch, execute quickly and accurately without predefined processes and protocols, and an interest in defining such processes for the future.
Ability to function independently in a technology-enabled clinical research setting.
Must be professional, possess a high degree of self-motivation, a deep-seated sense of urgency, and have a strong work ethic.
Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
Possess a valid driver's license.
Access to a personal vehicle for on-the-job transportation and patient home visits.
Must be comfortable performing study visits at patients’ homes before, during and after normal business hours.
